4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions
Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken drumsticks in a bowl. Pour the buttermilk over them, making sure they’re fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for extra flavor.

Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes, until tender.
Drain well and return the potatoes to the pot. Add the butter and 1/2 cup of milk. Mash thoroughly, adding additional milk if needed until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Coat the Chicken:
