Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Twists
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1/2 cup chocolate chip cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp water
Optional Topping:
Powdered sugar for dusting
Extra mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spread a thin layer of cookie dough evenly over half of the pastry.
Fold the other half of the pastry over the dough to cover. Gently press down to seal.
Slice into 1-inch strips and twist each strip 2–3 times.
Place twists on prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with egg wash (egg beaten with 1 tbsp water).
Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, pressing gently so they stick.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Tips:
Keep puff pastry cold for easier handling and better puff.
