🍓 Whipped Strawberry Lemonade 🍋
Ingredients
For the Strawberry Lemonade:
1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water (for the strawberry syrup)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
4 cups cold water
Ice cubes (for serving)
For the Whipped Topping:
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fresh strawberries and lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
Make the Strawberry Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries soften (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the strawberries to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids and set the syrup aside.
Prepare the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, 4 cups cold water, and the strawberry syrup. Stir well to mix.
Make the Whipped Topping: In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or whisk to beat until soft peaks form.
Assemble the Drink: Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry lemonade over the ice. Top each glass with a dollop of whipped cream.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh strawberries and lemon slices. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!
