Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 900 g / 2 lbs)
1 tsp paprika (3 g)
½ tsp garlic powder (1.5 g)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
4 strips bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
60 g (½ cup) grated parmesan cheese
120 ml (½ cup) heavy cream
120 ml (½ cup) chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil (30 ml)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Season chicken with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
In the same skillet, whisk cream, broth, and parmesan together. Simmer until the sauce slightly thickens.
Pour sauce over the chicken, sprinkle with bacon, and bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes.
Check chicken reaches 74°C (165°F) internally.
Garnish with parsley before serving.
