π Cinnamon Sugar Pizza Crescent Rolls π―
Ingredients
For the Rolls:
1 (8 oz) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
ΒΌ cup granulated sugar
1Β½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the Glaze:
Β½ cup powdered sugar
1β2 teaspoons milk (dairy or plant-based)
Β½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat and prep: Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Unroll the dough: Separate the crescent dough into 8 individual triangles on a clean surface.
Make the cinnamon sugar: In a small bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and cinnamon until evenly blended.
Coat the dough: Brush each triangle lightly with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, pressing gently so it adheres.
Roll them up: Starting at the wide end of each triangle, roll toward the point to form a crescent shape. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Bake: Bake for 10β12 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown at the edges.
Cool slightly: Transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack and let the rolls cool for 5β10 minutesβjust enough to set but still warm for glazing.
Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of milk. Add more milk, a few drops at a time, until you reach a smooth, drizzle-able consistency.
Drizzle and serve: Spoon or drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls. Serve immediately while still flaky and fragrant.
