Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
3 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
Brown beef and onion in a skillet; season well. Drain excess grease.
In a bowl, whisk soup and milk until smooth.
Layer half of the potatoes, half the beef, and half the cheese. Repeat layers.
Pour soup mixture evenly over the top. Cover with foil.
Bake 1 hour (remove foil for last 15 min) until potatoes are tender and top is bubbly.
