Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients:
* 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, room temperature
* 4 to 5 cups powdered sugar, sifted (adjust to taste)
* 1/4 tsp fine salt (adjust to taste)
* 4 tsp vanilla extract
* 3-4 Tbsp heavy cream or whole milk (adjust to desired consistency)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy.
2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. Add the salt, vanilla extract, and 3 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk. Beat on high speed until the frosting is smooth and fluffy. Add more cream or milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
