Instructions
Marinate the Salmon
In a shallow dish, coat the salmon fillets evenly with teriyaki sauce and sesame oil. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cook the Noodles
Cook the spaghetti or noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
Prepare the Green Beans
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add trimmed green beans, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Set aside.
Cook the Salmon
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the marinated salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable.
Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Make the Garlic Noodles
While the salmon cooks, melt butter in a separate skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Stir in soy sauce (or tamari), sesame oil, grated ginger (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using).
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the garlic sauce. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed to create a smoother sauce.
Assemble & Serve
Divide the garlic noodles between two plates.
Top with the cooked teriyaki salmon fillets.
Serve the sautéed green beans on the side.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions, if desired.
