Gordon Ramsay Steak Marinade
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Optional: zest of 1 lemon
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until emulsified.
Stir in garlic, black pepper, salt, and fresh herbs. Add lemon zest if using for an extra bright layer of flavor.
Pour marinade over steaks (ribeye, sirloin, filet mignon, etc.) in a ziplock bag or shallow dish.
Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, ideally 3–4 hours. For maximum flavor, marinate overnight.
Remove steaks from marinade and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
Grill or pan-sear steaks to your desired doneness. Let rest before slicing.
