🇫🇷 Escalope de Veau
A simple yet delicious breaded veal cutlet, crispy on the outside and tender inside.
Ingredients:
Veal cutlets – 4 (about 120 g each)
Flour – 50 g
Eggs – 2
Breadcrumbs – 100 g
Butter – 50 g
Olive oil – 2 tbsp
Lemon slices – for serving
Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions:
Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper.
Dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Serve hot with lemon slices.
