Birthday Brownies
This recipe makes delicious, fudgy brownies perfect for any celebration. The colorful sprinkles add a festive touch that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar until well combined.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract.
4. Gradually fold in the flour until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the colorful sprinkles.
6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining sprinkles on top.
7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before slicing into squares.
