Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

Ingredients:

- 1 7.5 oz can biscuits (Great Value brand recommended)
- 1 21 oz can apple pie filling
- 10 individually wrapped caramels, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
2. Open the can of biscuits and separate each biscuit. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
3. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each flattened biscuit, then add a piece of caramel on top of the filling.
4. Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit around the filling and caramel, pinching to seal completely and form a ball.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry the sealed biscuit balls in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
7. Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
8. While still warm, roll each bomb in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving to enjoy the gooey caramel and apple filling.
