Fried Cornbread - Don't LOSE this Recipe 😋
Ingredients:
2/3 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup self-rising flour
1/3 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 large egg
Oil for frying (about 3 tbsp. coconut oil or your choice)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Mix cornmeal, flour, buttermilk, and egg until combined; the mixture should be moist.
2️⃣ Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3️⃣ Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the skillet and cook until brown on both sides, like pancakes.
4️⃣ Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
