Savory Cajun Chicken over Creamy Parmesan Linguine

Ingredients:

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

8 oz linguine pasta

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chicken broth

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Rub both sides generously with Cajun seasoning.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add cooked linguine into the sauce and toss to coat.

Slice the Cajun chicken and place on top of the creamy linguine. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot!
