Steak Fettuccine with Honey BBQ Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
2 tbsp honey
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup chicken broth
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the instructions on the package. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced steak with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Add the steak to the pan and sear for 4-5 minutes until it’s browned and fully cooked. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the BBQ sauce, honey, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir the mixture together and bring it to a simmer, cooking for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the cooked fettuccine to the pan and toss it in the creamy BBQ sauce. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it’s fully melted and coats the pasta.
Add the seared steak back into the pan, tossing it with the pasta and sauce. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
