Crispy Fried Chicken Wings with Honey Garlic Sauce
Sauce:
2 tbsp oil
5 cloves minced garlic
1 cup honey
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
Fried chicken:
2 cups flour
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon pepper flakes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp black pepper
3 Ibs chicken wings
2 eggs
Oil for frying
Steps:
In a saucepan, heat the oil and saute the garlic. Saute till fragrant and a little brown. Add the honey, soy sauce, ginger and black pepper.
Simmer together for 5-7 minutes, remove from heat and set aside, let it cool.
Frying thee chicken wings:
Mix together the flour, paprika, pepper, salt and black pepper.
Whisk the eggs.
Dip the wings into the whisk egg and then toss in the flour mixture. Fry the coated wings into a deep fryer or in a pan filled with cooking oil.
Fry until golden brown, about 15-18 minutes. While still warm and crispy, add the honey garlic sauce. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
