Pizza Burger Pie
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup pepperoni slices
¼ cup cooked bacon bits
½ tsp Italian seasoning
1 refrigerated pie crust
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Prepare the Beef Mixture:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
Stir in pizza sauce and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Pie:
Place the refrigerated pie crust in a greased 9-inch pie dish.
Spread the beef mixture evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the beef.
Top with pepperoni slices, bacon bits, and Italian seasoning.
Bake & Serve:
Brush the edges of the crust with beaten egg.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top for extra flavor.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot!
