Pecan Pie Dump Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
3. Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the syrup mixture, but do not stir.
5. Distribute the chopped pecans evenly over the cake mix.
6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
