Keto Donut Holes
Ingredients
For the Dough
1 ½ cups almond flour
¼ cup coconut flour
2 tbsp powdered erythritol or allulose (sweetener)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
2 large eggs
2 tbsp sour cream (or Greek yogurt, full-fat)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp melted butter
For Frying
Coconut oil or avocado oil (enough for deep frying)
For Coating
½ cup powdered erythritol (or a blend of powdered erythritol + monk fruit)
1 tsp cinnamon (optional, for cinnamon-sugar style)
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and melted butter.
Combine wet and dry ingredients into a sticky dough. Let it sit 5 minutes to thicken.
Step 2: Fry the Donuts
Heat oil in a deep pan to 325°F (160°C).
Scoop dough with a small spoon and gently roll into balls.
Fry in small batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown (about 3–4 minutes).
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Coat
While still warm, roll donut holes in powdered erythritol (and cinnamon if desired).
Serve warm and enjoy!
