🍞🇫🇷 Fougasse
A rustic Provençal bread shaped like a leaf, flavored with herbs and olive oil. Crispy outside, soft inside 🌿🍞.
Ingredients:
• 500 g flour
• 300 ml water
• 7 g yeast
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp salt
• Provencal herbs (thyme, rosemary)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Mix flour, yeast, salt, water, and oil into a dough.
2️⃣ Knead until smooth, let rise 1h.
3️⃣ Shape into leaf, cut slits, stretch gently.
4️⃣ Sprinkle with herbs and bake at 220°C (425°F) for 15 min.
5️⃣ Serve warm with olive oil 🫒.
