𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐩, 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 & 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧 🍤🥓🥬
Ingredients:
• 4 slices bacon, chopped
• 1 lb sausage, sliced
• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
• 1 onion, chopped
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
2. Cook the Sausage: Add the sausage slices to the skillet and cook until browned. Remove and set aside with the bacon.
3. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. Sauté the Onion and Garlic: Add olive oil to the skillet if needed. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
5. Fry the Cabbage: Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to coat with the oil and onions. Cook until the cabbage is tender and slightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
6. Combine and Serve: Return the bacon, sausage, and shrimp to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes:
• For extra flavor, add a splash of apple cider vinegar or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
• Serve as a main dish or as a side to your favorite entree.
