π Ingredients
For the Pulled Pork:
2Β½β3 lbs pork shoulder or butt
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Β½ tsp cayenne (optional)
1 onion, sliced
Β½ green bell pepper, sliced
Β½ cup chicken broth or water
1Β½ cups BBQ sauce (plus more for topping)
For the Hot Dogs:
6 beef hot dogs
6 hot dog buns (toasted or buttered if you're fancy π)
1Β½ cups shredded cheddar or cheddar-jack cheese
2 tbsp butter (optional for toasting buns)
For the Fries:
1 bag frozen crinkle fries
Β½ tsp seasoned salt
ΒΌ tsp paprika
Shredded cheese & parsley (optional topping)

1. Make the Pulled Pork (Slow Cooker or Oven):
Rub pork shoulder with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper & cayenne.
Place sliced onions and bell peppers in the bottom of your slow cooker. Add pork, pour in broth, and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.
Once tender, shred pork with forks and mix in BBQ sauce. Let it simmer on warm to soak up flavor.
(Oven version: Cover tightly in foil and bake at 300Β°F for 3.5β4 hours, then shred & mix in BBQ sauce.)
2. Cook the Hot Dogs:
Grill, pan-fry, or boil your hot dogs until heated through and slightly crisp.
3. Toast the Buns (optional but π₯):
Butter the insides of each bun and lightly toast in a skillet or oven until golden.
4. Assemble the Dogs:
Place a hot dog in each bun, top with shredded cheese, then load it up with BBQ pulled pork. Drizzle more BBQ sauce on top for that extra drip.
5. Fries on the Side:
Bake fries according to package directions. Once done, toss with seasoned salt & paprika. Top with cheese & parsley if youβre feeling extra!
