Ingredients:
• 20 wonton wrappers
• 4 oz (½ cup) cream cheese, softened
• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ cup diced fresh strawberries (or strawberry preserves)
• 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
• Oil for frying
For Serving:
• Powdered sugar (for dusting)
• Strawberry sauce or raspberry jam
• Whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Filling:
• In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
• Fold in diced strawberries (or use strawberry preserves for a smoother filling).
2. Assemble the Wontons:
• Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
• Lightly brush the edges with the beaten egg.
• Fold the wonton into a triangle (or a pouch shape) and press the edges tightly to seal.
