One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Bowtie Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces Bowtie Pasta
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Brown the ground beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pot or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart as it browns. Cook for 5-7 minutes, until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
Sauté the garlic and onion: Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the pot. Add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
Season the mixture: Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine, allowing the spices to coat the beef and onion mixture.
Add liquid and pasta: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Add the bowtie pasta and stir to ensure it’s evenly distributed in the liquid.
Cook the pasta: Cover the pot and simmer for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more beef broth or cream to reach your desired consistency.
Add Parmesan cheese: Once the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Garnish and serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top for a burst of color. Serve immediately, and enjoy the creamy, flavorful goodness!
