Ingredients:
For the Ribs:
2–3 lbs beef short ribs (bone-in)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
For the Sticky BBQ Sauce:
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 tsp mustard (optional, for tang)
Instructions:
Season the Ribs:
Rub beef ribs with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and chili powder.
Slow Cook the Ribs:
Oven method: Preheat to 300°F (150°C). Wrap ribs in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 2.5–3 hours until tender.
Optional: Add a little beef broth under the foil for extra moisture.
Make the Sauce:
In a small saucepan, mix BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, and mustard. Simmer for 5–10 minutes until thick and sticky.
Glaze & Broil:
Once ribs are tender, unwrap and brush heavily with BBQ sauce.
Broil on high for 5–7 minutes or until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.
Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes. Serve hot with extra sauce on the side.
