Warm, gooey apples meet buttery caramel and golden cake β the easiest fall dessert ever!
π Ingredients:
2 (21 oz) cans apple pie filling
1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving

Step 1: Prep the Pan
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Layer the Filling
Spread apple pie filling evenly in the baking dish.
Drizzle 1/2 cup caramel sauce over the apples.
Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Step 3: Add Cake Mix
Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the apple mixtureβdo not stir.
Step 4: Butter It Up
Pour melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
Step 5: Bake & Serve
Bake for 45β50 minutes, or until top is golden and bubbly.
Let cool slightly, then drizzle with extra caramel sauce.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
