Pizza Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
4 slices Italian bread
2 tablespoons Butter, softened
1/4 cup Pizza sauce
1/2 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Pepperoni slices
1/4 cup Sliced black olives
1/4 cup Sliced green bell peppers
1/4 cup Sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup Sliced red onions
Directions:
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Spread softened butter evenly over one side of each slice of bread.
Place two slices of bread, butter side down, onto the preheated skillet or griddle.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the top of each slice of bread on the skillet.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.
Layer pepperoni slices, black olives, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and red onions over the cheese.
Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle and let them cool slightly before serving.
