WOULD YOU EAT THIS GROUND BEEF AND GRAVY OVER MASHED POTATOES 🥔🍖✨

Ingredients:
For the Ground Beef and Gravy:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), peeled and chopped
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup whole milk or cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh chives, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
For the Mashed Potatoes:
Boil the Potatoes:

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the peeled and chopped potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender.
Mash the Potatoes:

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside and keep warm.
For the Ground Beef and Gravy:
Cook the Ground Beef:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté the Onions and Garlic:

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef, cooking for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Make the Gravy:

Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste. Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly, and add the Worcestershire sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the gravy thickens.
Serve:

Spoon the ground beef and gravy over the mashed potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley and chives, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
Helpful Tips:
Extra Creamy Potatoes: For extra creamy mashed potatoes, use heavy cream instead of milk.
Flavor Boost: Add a splash of red wine to the gravy for extra richness.
