Ingredients
1 Β½ cups 100% fruit juice (orange, cherry, or mango work great!)
3 tablespoons grass-fed gelatin powder
2 tablespoons raw honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
1 teaspoon lemon juice (for enhanced flavor)
ΒΌ teaspoon sea salt (boosts mineral content)
Instructions
Prepare the Mold β Lightly grease heart-shaped silicone molds or use a 9x9-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
Warm the Juice β In a small saucepan, gently heat the fruit juice over low heat until warm but not boiling.
Bloom the Gelatin β Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the warm juice and let it sit for 1-2 minutes to absorb.
Whisk & Melt β Stir continuously over low heat until the gelatin fully dissolves. Do not boil, as it reduces the benefits of gelatin.
Sweeten & Flavor β Remove from heat and stir in the honey, lemon juice, and any optional ingredients.
Pour & Set β Carefully pour the mixture into the molds or pan. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or until firm and set.
Unmold & Enjoy β Gently pop the gummies out of the mold. If using a pan, cut into heart shapes with a cookie cutter.
Optional Sugar Coating β For a look similar to the image, lightly dust gummies with powdered monk fruit sweetener or fine coconut sugar.
