๐๐ฅ Savory Cajun Chicken over Creamy Parmesan Linguineโคโ
Spicy Cajun-seasoned chicken nestled on a bed of rich, garlicky Parmesan linguine โ comfort food with a kick!
๐ Ingredients:
For the Cajun Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (more to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil
ยฝ tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Parmesan Linguine:
8 oz linguine pasta
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1ยฝ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
๐ด Directions:
Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken on both sides with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 6โ7 minutes per side or until fully cooked and golden. Remove and let rest before slicing.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sautรฉ garlic for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 3โ4 minutes until thickened.
Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat.
Top pasta with sliced Cajun chicken, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot!
