Strawberry cake π
Ingredients
For cake:
β’ 200 g of flour
β’ 1 cdita of baking powder
β’ 8 egg yolks
β’ 6 egg whites
β’ 200 g of sugar
β’ 1 vanilla cdita
β’ 50 g of melted butter π§
β’ 1 bottle (270 g) strawberry jam π
For merengue:
β’ 2 egg whites
β’ 250 g of mashed strawberries
β’ 250 g of sugar

Preparation
1οΈβ£ Prepare the oven:
Preheat at 180 Β° C. Grease and flour a mold.
2οΈβ£ Cake:
β’ Congate the flour with the baking powder.
β’ Beat the 6 clear nougat and reserve.
β’ In another bowl, beat the yolks with sugar until thickened.
β’ Add the flour mixture, vanilla, melted butter and finally incorporate whites with enveloping movements.
β’ Pour into the mold and bake from 30 to 40 min (until you insert a stick, leave clean).
β’ Let cool on a rack.
3οΈβ£ merengue:
β’ Beat the 2 clear with strawberry puree and half of the sugar.
β’ When firm, add the rest of the sugar little by little until it has a brilliant meringue consistency.
4οΈβ£ Assembly:
β’ Cut the cake in half (horizontally).
β’ Fill with strawberry jam and cover with the meringue.
