🇫🇷 Brandade de Morue (Salt Cod & Potato Purée)
A silky, savory blend of mashed potatoes and salt cod—pure comfort in a dish.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound salted cod
• 2 potatoes
• 1/4 cup cream
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• Black pepper and parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Soak the salted cod in water for 24 hours, changing the water several times.
2. Boil potatoes until tender, then mash them.
3. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic.
4. Add flaked cod and stir until warm.
5. Combine mashed potatoes, cod, and cream. Mix until smooth.
6. Season with pepper and garnish with parsley. Serve warm.
