Joe's Crab Shack Crab Dip
Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) can crab meat, drained
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy. This is best done with an electric mixer, but can be done by hand with some effort.
3. Add the Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated.
4. Gently fold in the drained crab meat. Be careful not to overmix, as this can break up the crab meat.
5. Pour the crab mixture into an oven-safe dish. A small casserole dish or an 8-inch pie plate works well.
6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the crab dip.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye on it during the last few minutes to prevent burning.
8. Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
9. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Serve with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
