Cheesy Beef Lasagna Skillet
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups marinara sauce
1/2 cup water
8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
3/4 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender, about 5–6 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Stir in marinara sauce, water, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a gentle boil.
Add broken lasagna noodles, stirring to submerge them in the sauce. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
Drop spoonfuls of ricotta over the lasagna, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly across the top.
Cover for another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and gooey.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
