ONE-POT SPICY CHICKEN LINGUINE IN CREAMY SAUCE
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken to the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
In the same pot, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
Add the linguine pasta to the pot, making sure it’s submerged in the sauce. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Return the cooked chicken to the pot and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
