Ingredients:
2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Yellow food coloring (optional)
Crushed Oreos for topping
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan to ensure that cheesecake comes out beautifully.
In a medium bowl, mix together the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until you have a sandy texture. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared pan.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Now it's time to add some richness! Stir in the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until everything is well blended.
Want a pop of color? If youβre feeling adventurous, add a few drops of yellow food coloring and mix until the batter is uniformly bright.
Carefully pour the luscious cream cheese mixture over the crumb crust in your springform pan, smoothing the top as you go.
