Ingredients:

β€’ 1/2 cup cooked lentils (100 g)
β€’ 1/2 cup rolled oats (45 g)
β€’ 1 small onion, finely chopped (approx. 1/2 cup, 70 g)
β€’ 2 cloves garlic, minced
β€’ 1 tbsp tomato paste (15 ml)
β€’ 1 tsp smoked paprika
β€’ 1/2 tsp chipotle powder (for an extra kick)
β€’ 1/2 tsp ground cumin
β€’ 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
β€’ Salt and pepper to taste
β€’ 1/4 cup vegetable broth (60 ml)
β€’ 1 tbsp olive oil (15 ml)
β€’ 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, lentils, rolled oats, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
2. Add the tomato paste, smoked paprika, chipotle powder, cumin, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper.

5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausages for about 4–5 minutes per side until a smoky, charred exterior develops.
