Philly Cheesesteak Sliders 🥩🧅🧀

🛒 Ingredients:

12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)

1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing buns)

1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onions and peppers until soft. Remove and set aside.

Add sliced steak to skillet, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned.

Slice slider buns in half (keep them connected) and place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.

Layer steak, peppers, onions, and cheese evenly over the buns.

Place top buns over filling, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.

Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are golden.

Slice into individual sliders and serve warm!
