Steak Fajitas - Don't Miss This Recipe, Save it for LATER
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
Tortillas, for serving
Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese
Directions:
Begin by marinating the sliced flank steak in a mixture of olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
In a large skillet or grill pan, heat a bit of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak strips and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
Return the cooked steak to the skillet, mixing it with the vegetables. Cook for an additional minute to heat everything through.
Serve the steak and vegetable mixture in warm tortillas, and add your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or shredded cheese.
