🐰 Easter Marshmallow Pops 🌈
Ingredients
10-12 large marshmallows
1 cup of white or pastel-colored candy melts
1 tablespoon of coconut oil (or vegetable shortening)
Colorful sprinkles, edible glitter, or crushed cookies for decoration
Lollipop sticks or paper straws
Optional: Food coloring (if using white candy melts)
Instructions
Prepare the Marshmallows: Insert a lollipop stick or paper straw into the base of each marshmallow, pushing it about halfway through. Set them aside on a parchment-lined tray.
Melt the Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the candy melts and coconut oil. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted. If using white candy melts, add a few drops of food coloring to create pastel shades.
Dip and Decorate: Hold a marshmallow by the stick and dip it into the melted candy coating, swirling to cover it completely. Allow any excess coating to drip off.
Add Sprinkles: While the coating is still wet, roll or sprinkle your chosen decorations over the marshmallow. Place it back on the parchment-lined tray to set.
Let Them Set: Allow the pops to harden at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes. For quicker setting, you can place them in the fridge for 5-10 minutes.
