Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches

Ingredients:

1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches in syrup, undrained
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually stir in milk until a smooth batter forms.

Pour the batter over the butter in the dish. Do not stir.

Spoon the peaches and syrup evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.

Sprinkle with cinnamon, if using.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.

Let cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
