For the brown butter glaze:

3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)
Instructions
Prepare the fritter batter:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
Shape and cook the fritters:
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter and shape them loosely into rounds. Place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each fritter to allow for even cooking.
