Ham and Cheese Roll-Ups
Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 slices deli ham
8 slices Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon honey mustard (optional)
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
If desired, spread a thin layer of honey mustard on each crescent roll triangle.
Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each crescent roll triangle.
Starting from the wide end, roll up each crescent roll triangle tightly, enclosing the ham and cheese inside.
Place the rolled-up crescents seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and poppy seeds. Brush the tops of the roll-ups with the butter mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Serve the ham and cheese roll-ups warm as a delicious appetizer or snack.
