🇫🇷 Terrine de Volaille (Chicken Terrine)
Smooth, herby, and rich in flavor—this French terrine is a perfect appetizer served with crusty bread.
📝 Ingredients:
• Chicken thighs (boneless): 500 g
• Heavy cream: 100 ml
• Egg: 1
• Shallot (finely chopped): 1
• Garlic (minced): 1 clove
• Fresh parsley: 2 tbsp, chopped
• Salt & pepper: to taste
• Butter (for greasing): 1 tbsp
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
2️⃣ Blend chicken, cream, egg, shallot, garlic, parsley, salt & pepper until smooth.
3️⃣ Grease a small terrine mold with butter and pour in the mixture.
4️⃣ Place the mold in a water bath and bake for 50–60 min.
5️⃣ Let cool completely and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
6️⃣ Slice and serve with toasted baguette.
