🍬 Anis de Flavigny (Anise Candies)
Traditional hard candies from Burgundy, flavored with anise and made with layers of sugar syrup.
Ingredients:
• 500 g sugar
• 10 g anise seeds
• 50 ml water
• 1 tbsp honey (optional)
• 1 tsp lemon juice (to prevent crystallization)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat sugar, water, lemon juice, and optional honey in a saucepan until a syrup forms.
2️⃣ Coat anise seeds with a thin layer of syrup.
3️⃣ Allow to dry slightly, then repeat the process, adding thin syrup layers until seeds are fully coated.
4️⃣ Stir continuously to prevent clumping.
5️⃣ Let candies dry completely before storing in an airtight jar.
6️⃣ Enjoy as a sweet digestive treat.
