Marinara Sauce π

Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 small onion, finely diced (about 1 cup)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ΒΌ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium-high. Add the onion and cook until translucent. Stir in the garlic and sautΓ© for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
2. Add the tomatoes, salt, and thyme. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes until the sauce thickens.
3. Remove from heat, stir in the basil, and enjoy.
This makes about 4 cups of sauce.
