🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza 🍫
Ingredients
½ cup softened unsalted butter
¾ cup white sugar
¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon fine salt
1½ cups chocolate chips (split into two portions)
1 cup melted milk or semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions
Set Up Your Pan:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a round pizza pan or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Base:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and light. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and well combined.
Blend the Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Add Chocolate Chips and Shape:
Stir in ¾ cup of the chocolate chips. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan, leaving a slight border around the edges for spreading during baking.
Bake to Perfection:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the center feels set. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Top with Melty Goodness:
Spread the melted chocolate over the warm cookie base, ensuring an even layer. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top while the chocolate is still soft and gooey.
Let It Set:
Allow the chocolate to harden slightly before slicing the cookie pie into wedges. Serve warm or at room temperature for maximum indulgence.
