Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti

Ingredients:
For the pasta base:
12 oz spaghetti
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
For the cream cheese layer:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
For topping:
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2️⃣ Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté aromatics: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
4️⃣ Brown the beef: Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
5️⃣ Add marinara: Pour in marinara sauce, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
6️⃣ Mix the cream layer: In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
7️⃣ Assemble the dish: In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer as follows:
Half of the cooked spaghetti
All of the cream cheese mixture, spread evenly
Remaining spaghetti
Meat sauce on top
8️⃣ Top it off: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the top.
9️⃣ Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
🔟 Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot!
