Holiday Cake Mix Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
2 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces (like M&M’s)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips and half of the candy-coated chocolates.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle the remaining candy-coated chocolates on top, gently pressing them into the surface.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Tips:
