🇫🇷 Tarte aux Mirabelles (Mirabelle Plum Tart)
Golden, glossy, and fruity—this tart celebrates the delicate flavor of mirabelle plums.
Ingredients:
• 1 tart crust (shortcrust or puff pastry)
• 400 g fresh or canned mirabelle plums, halved and pitted
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
• 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Roll out dough in a tart pan and prick the base.
3. Arrange plums cut-side up, sprinkle with sugar and flour.
4. Brush edges with egg yolk.
5. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
